Title: How do I change username and password in this router ?
Post by: David on Dec 13, 2009, 12:06:23
Its a David "Special"folks..I cant find the set up thread but a little while ago I changed my router to my reinstate my 2700 because I wanted the wireless function..but no matter how I tried the user name would not change...what did I do wrong.I have had to revert back to my other router which is wireless but the set up is mental..or I am.

I am watching a netgear on that famous auction site as they are so easy to set up and I do need to get the other machines in the house on-line without using miles of cables

The part you want to read is;

QuoteNote when this configuration data is complete do not click the Submit Settings button at the bottom of the page.
At first this is what I did and it does not work.
Instead in your browser's address bar type: javascript:document.pagepost.submit() and press enter.
This saves the correct details but bypasses the validation present in the BT firmware.
