Only 157MB here, but that often seems to happen with Mac updates for some reason.

I think this is your first Mac? Compared to Windows updates it's fast, but it's one of the slowest OS X updates I've ever installed... had me worried at one point!

yes my first Mac  `it is fast compared with windows, mine even though it was gargantuan only took a few minutes, reading the apple support forums today there has been some issues for some, but so far apart from mail quitting unexpectedly all has been good, saying that I was mucking about with changing accounts and probably confused it  ;D

The update to mail(previous crash on exchange server setup) finally allowed me to get rid of Entourage . Time for a celebration(little things ;D)

That's an intermittent problem I've had ever since the first release of Leopard... rare now, but 2 or 3 times a week in the early days. It would just quit, even if I wasn't doing anything.

I always send the automated crash report off to Apple, maybe someone has been reading them!

I'll omit the "SL" and 'is" next time. Us Apple users are used to being minimalistic, you've only got to look at the machines
