My router logged a drop in the PPP session from 05:04 - 05:13. No loss of sync was recorded.
New equipment coming on stream maybe?
Yes Rik had the same thing from 05:13 to 05:17 no loss of dsl synch though
Thanks for the confirmation. Obviously, they moved on to you after they had doctored me. :)
I lost sync as well, not sure what time, my own fault for saying my connection had been up for 6 days+ on another thread.. ???
It's always the same, Inactive, the moment you mention the word stability, something comes along and takes your connection down. :) Still, at least I was asleep when it happened!

Same here...well in to nodsville.. ;D
down 5.02 to 5.19 here.
I note that speeds are a bit iffy now, round about 2000 instead of the usual 6000. Hope this isn't indicative of the new plumbing at IDNet. :-\

Checked my speeds since my sync dropped, they are fine.
Hi Sobranie
If they've started using plumbing, we really have problems! :)
I've noticed a speed drop here as well, about 40% of my normal d/s speed. :(
I think Inactive must have been given the new central to play with. Not fair!

I wish, I do however have a BT Exchange as a near next door neighbour tho' 8) 8)
I have a BT engineer as a next-door neighbour, but it just doesn't have the same effect.
Just spoken to Simon. He thinks the outages would have been BT updating DSLAM firmware, it's definitely not an IDNet issue. If you are suffering from a speed drop, try to get onto the BT tester and check your profile.
Edit: I decided to re-boot the router in the light of what Simon said, and my speeds returned to 66% of normal. Still trying to get on the BT tester...
I get disconnects all the time but as my router automatically reconnects and the disconnections are always at night, I've just been accepting it as being part of the experience. The last couple of days (with the accompaniment of the usual treacle) have been the worst for a while but as my sync has gone back up to 8128 Kbps after being at 71** for a few weeks I'm not complaining.
Ooh strike that stuff about my disconnects being at night. I just did another check and the last one was 1 hr 20 mins ago. :-\
speeds back to 6000+ I'm pleased to report.

The difference here, though, was that there was no loss of sync, just the PPP session. There will be some outages today - Simon's posted in Announcements if you haven't already seen it.
mine ok

My Exchange behind the OAP across the front door
OAP? I didn't know I was acting as your personal draught excluder, Siege? ;)
