Title: If not a 2700hgv then...?
Post by: mrapoc on Oct 05, 2009, 22:27:03
If I were to sell my 2700hgv on, which router is highly rated as a replacement?

I miss the usefulness of upnp and 2700 seems to be cr*p for finding game servers/gaming pings.

May as well get full wireless N too

Stats atm are

Current Noise Margin:         11.0 dB         25.0 dB
Current Attenuation:       25.9 dB       14.0 dB
Current Output Power:       19.8 dBm       12.4 dBm

It's normally either netgears or speedtouch which get the vote, Sam, but I don't know much about the models from either manufacturer.

What Lance said, Sam, in all respects. ;)

So if i go have a gander at the wireless N offerings from both parties I can then start filtering through but either way both should be pretty good

They should, Sam. Netgears are easier to set up and access, Speedtouches are possibly more robust.
