I started to use Chrome because IE8 would stop working and a message would appear informing me of this. As I like IE8 and although Chrome seemed to be working better than Firefox (my previous back up browser) I thought I would see what could be done so I went to a Microsoft site
http://support.microsoft.com/gp/pc_ie_methodthreeb2000
and followed their instructions. IE8 seems to be fine now and has not crashed once in fact seems much faster and smoother so I will run it and see how I get on. ;D
And there was me thinking to repair was to uninstall! (ok you can't, but you get what I'm getting at!!)
glad to hear it's sorted den and thanks for the link.
It has not stopped working once yet and is looking good. ;D
I agree that IE 8 looks rather good, but each time I use it I end up going back to Firefox in short order. ::)
I'll have to give it a proper test, and hang the lorry load of spam it deposits on my desktop. ;D
Good stuff, Den. :)

What spam? I have never had a problem with spam with any of the browsers. Still running well ;D
6 days now and IE8 has not let me down once since the repair. It is now back to being my choice of browser again. ;D

I'm sure Sebby will b most disappointed!
But it can't be any good surely, it's made by Microsoft >:D It is about time that we stood up and be counted, MS is not all bad and should be praised when it is deserved. ;D

It's disappointing because there are much better alternatives out there. People just worry about moving away from what they know.
