Title: Free audio/mp3 burner?
Post by: somanyholes on Sep 24, 2009, 09:13:18
Hi All

Can anyone recommend free software to burn mp3's with. None of the free software I have found supports burning mp3's just support audio disc's. Any ideas?

Exact Audio Copy (EAC) is one of the best mp3 rippers and also has the ability to burn mp3's to CD.

Failing that any burning program should just burn the files as data, which they are, or are you looking to expand them to CD audio when they are burnt?

Certainly I agree EAC is an excellent accurate CD ripper (although I prefer DBpoweramp), with regard burning MP3 to CD if I understand correctly can you not also use Windows Media Player or iTunes for that purpose?

Thanks for the responses all. Have gone for imgburn in the end, which seems to do the job nicely. :)
