Title: RE: BT Filter setups...
Post by: AvengerUK on Feb 28, 2007, 09:40:26
as per the other thread, which was someone else's (so made a new thread for this!) - I was "told" that for each phone there should be a filter,
So, i have drawn (badly) my current phone setup. Please note the BT socket is the MASTER socket!

EDIT: IMAGE REMOVED.... im going to put it just as a lunk, its too damm big otherwise! http://img136.imageshack.us/img136/7219/btsetup1cq9.jpg (http://img136.imageshack.us/img136/7219/btsetup1cq9.jpg)

Where can this setup be improved in such a way? - not that i matters...im just interested ;)

Thanks!

That set-up looks fine to me...

It may be that the surge protector adds some 'noise'. I wouldn't say that for each phone you need a filter, but certainly for each socket.

Maybe some-one else will see something I've missed  :)

Hi Avenger

Some surge protectors don't play nicely with ADSL, so you might want to experiment without it. Other than that, it looks fine, subject to the length and quality of the wiring.
