Title: well I've been quiet

and had nearly a week of 6-7mb connections.

Tonight, the ping times are up to 108ms from 45 and it's died again

8992 kbps 1072 kbps
Line Attenuation 40.5 db 18.8 db
Noise Margin 2.7 db 9.0 db


connection speed showing in speedtest.net as 2.76mb

SNR has suddenly dropped again as well to 2.7

router has not re-synced showing an uptime of 123 hours
and gaming has become impossible again.

Test1 comprises of Best Effort Test:  -provides background information.

is the bt test result. is there any chance of ever getting a stable connection

What is the normal level for your snr? If it is 6, the drop you've seen can simply be put down to the time of day.

Areyou able with your router to just reset the ppp session without rebooting the whole router? If so, I would suggest giving that a try.

As Lance says, the decreased SNRM is likely to be due to the time of day. The router must have sync'd during the day, and so at night when there is more noise around, the SNRM falls. You could reboot the router at night, and whilst you'll sync a bit lower than currently, it should be more stable.
