Title: Question about IDNet Phone
Post by: Rapier Racer on Aug 20, 2009, 17:18:33
Thinking about transferring the phone line over to IDNet. This is mainly because I want the line only for my broadband and so I'm looking to just pay for line rental. My question, is it possible to have a bar put on outgoing calls? I don't live alone and don't want someone connecting a phone to the extension boxes and making calls.

I don't know, a quick call to support and they will tell you

Call barring should be available, but it's an additional charge usually.

If you are only going to use the line for broadband, you could also disconnect the extensions, which could improve your broadband performance anyway.  :)
