I would think, like Rick's case it is picking up signals from another piece of equipment

We are surrounded these days by RF, everything seems to have to be "wireless", if it were possible to see these disturbances I think people might get a bit worried by the fog of electricity that surrounds us and I think the problem of inanimate objects picking up and relaying these signals is going to get worse. I have a set of walkie talkies or personal radios as the are called now, easily bought from Argos and the like, and I have found if I "key" one of the units inside the house, some electrical trip switches switch off,  I wonder how many mysterious power failures I caused before I found that out.

thank you all for answering, i too thought it must be stray RF, which is why i,m not too worried, unless it starts affecting my computer.

at one point in the house ,the phone and sky aerial leads ,run parallel buried in a wall , and are about 6-8" apart, that could well be the cause.

i had hoped it was voices from within CAMELOT !!! which i would have had to filter to get the inside gen, or even the local betfred !!!!  ;D :P

My external speakers will pick up RF from a mobile phone if it's too close, but I'd have expected the internal one to be reasonably well shielded, so I thin it has to be down to one of the external connections to the case.

I had a motherboard that spoke via its internal speaker, it was an asus and was designed to do so during post of if there were issues, only basic stuff, it was lousy at political debate  ;D

For a minute, I misread the manufacturer and thought you were commenting on the quality of its conversation, Gary.
