I have changed EMail and using 1&1 is there any way to either get these two to work together or do I have lose the windows mail server :dunno:
Can I for instance share the contacts or foward the existing mail in my old box ?
As long as you know the server details then you add your new email address to your mail client
What email cleint do you use, Outlook, Outlook Express, Windows Mail, Thunderbird?
I have always used outlook.
I have downloaded Thunderbird but its not active I thought I would lose outlook as my isp is not providing EMail service atm but I may upgrade
So where the oulook is set up for IDNet who would I set it up for to send mail ?
Adding an email address with;
Thunderbird http://www.freeemailtutorials.com/mozillaThunderbird/setupEmailAccount.cwd
Outlook Express & Outlook http://www.jamesshuggins.com/h/web1/another_email_address.htm
Thanks Glenn will have a read..............at least I brighten up a dull Saturday ;D
This second link is very informative and seems at a glance to answer my questions :thumb:

Thanks for that, Rik, I hadn't realised I needed to change the port, I've still been using port 25, changed now though. :thumb:
OTOH, if it works... :)
Thank you just read and reread it ......will try it out  :thnks:

Talking of which, my Ocado delivery isn't coming, because I must have got distracted, and didn't complete the order. That means, I've now got to go out and mix with other people at Sainsbury's. :ack: Wish me luck! :bawl:
We'll send out a search party if you're not back by sunset, Simon. ;D
Careful in Sainsburys Simon it is famous for it ;D especially the frozen food section >:D
Tesco at Inverness are open all night, if that helps, Simon.
Hit the wrong button :red: Glenn
I haven't been there for at least two years, and the last time, I left a full trolley in the middle of the store, rather than have to queue at the checkout. ;D
I live very close to (I was told) the largest Sainsburys superaver and its a joy to shop in there I have never waited long and they always open another till ...they are first rate,I really cannot fault them :thumb:

I wish mine did, David. It's the same now as ever. They seem to have a policy of
making customers queue at the checkouts, only half of which are open. I have actually witnessed checkouts being closed while customers approach, forcing them to queue at another. They obviously just want to maximise profits by only using a bare minimum of staff.
Tesco at Sandhurst has 50 checkouts + about 8 self service checkouts, but there are always queues there, that's why I use Morrisons.
That surprises me only if I compare them ......mine is a joy to shop there :dunno:
No Morrisons here, nor Lidl if thats how they spell their name.
Tesco....massive branch
Asda.......sometimes
Sainsburys
The Co-op.......only when desperate this is bad and I mean bad :eyebrow:
Have you been though Simon ?
We have everyone here, within a five minute drive, except for Asda which takes 10. It does make for healthy competition...
