Title: Mobile company supports cheaper calls
Post by: D-Dan on Jul 21, 2009, 12:35:19
Just got a message from 3 mobile indicatiing that they are supporting a campaign to reduce or eliminate Mobile Termination Rates (MTRs) which add, apparently, around 4.7p per minute to calls to other networks. Looking at the header on the site, the campaign is also supported by (amongst others) BT and Moneysupermarket.com.

They have a petition and it seems a worthwhile cause to me :)

I can't help but feel that 3 support it because they have most to gain.
