Will my line profile increase in line with my sync speed?
The last few days I've had a sync speed of around 18500 (see BT test below) and routerstats suggests I should have a 16000 profile, but it doesn't seem to have caught up yet. My router has been off and on a bit over the last few days due to thunderstorms, so is it a case of once it's been on for a few days in a row it'll all catch up?
Ta very much!
Test1 comprises of Best Effort Test: -provides background information.
Your DSL connection rate: 18575 kbps(DOWN-STREAM), 1211 kbps(UP-STREAM)
IP profile for your line is - 15000 kbps
Actual IP throughput achieved during the test was - 13780 kbps
My guess is, hopefully, but someone more qualified than me will confirm. :)
You should have a profile of 16000k for that sync, so yes. :)
Small profile changes (ie one or two steps) often take up to 5 days to take effect.
What everyone else says, Jonathan, but sometimes ADSL2+ profiles are a little more conservative than they should be due to error count.
Looks like it's caught up :)

Getting there. :)
Still can't seem to top 14000 throughput on a regular basis so I'm probably at the limit of my line now.

Usually test my d/l rate here.
