Title: Backup the firmware of 2700HG

Hello everybody... i have 2 "2wire 2700HG" with a generic firmware one of they have the software damaged... but the other one is in perfect status and i want to Backup the firmware of the router wich is good to update the damaged with the backup firmware.

It's possible? how can i do that? :dunno:

if it isn't possible where can i find the Generic Software to download it? ???

It's not possible to backup firmware, afaik. Take a look here (http://bt2700hgv.tripod.com/ir1002700HGV.htm) for options. :)

We can provide you with any of the released firmware versions for the 2700HGV, however the router has to be bootable to apply a new firmware.

To provide the correct firmware we need to know, is it single or dual SSID, what is the Serial Number and what is the number beginning 4201...........  ? ( You can PM me that information if you don't want to publish it here
