Just a quick note to IDNET - Awesome.... ;D

Pipex managed to deliver 512kb from a 1mb service for most of the time - IDNET are delivering a constant 2.5mb for 90% of the time and for the same price - As I said awesome ;D (http://www.speedtest.net)
Looking good... ;)
Yet another happy customer ;D
Makes a big difference to get a good service.
I bet you are glad you made the switch.
Couldn't agree more, great to have found these forums too - with all the tweaks and tests I found here my connection went from being less than 2mb to over 4mb and pushing 5mb off peak.
Not bad considering 12months ago BT said I couldn't get more than 1mb because of the distance to my exchange (I ordered 8mb MAX anyway) :p

Never believe BT. :)

No, you're wrong. When did you last count your pings? I'm being short-changed: some people here have got oodles of them.
Make sure you're getting your fair share. I just hope that when IDNet's plumber sorts out the leaky pipe I'll get a few more. At these prices we ought to be getting lots!

A ping indicates the latency between your connection and a remote host, it can be done by typing "ping bbc.co.uk" (for example) in command prompt. Although most people are not effected by higher pings it can effect time-sensitive applications, e.g. gaming, VoIP, IPTV, etc.
