Title: Wireless router vs BT DECT Phone (Freestyle 2200)
Post by: PuncH on Jun 21, 2009, 22:20:26
Hi,

Had the Freestyle 2200 BT Dect phones for several years now and wireless router for about a year. Can I safely say that if they were going to clash they would have done so by now?

I'm going to be moving my router and it'll be close (approx 3ft) to the base unit of the phone and I'm wondering if this will increase the chance of interferance or whether (once again) I'm fretting about nothing.

It will increase the chance of interference, but I still think it's unlikely, unless they're very close. I would just see how you go. :)

They'll be about 3 feet apart and the router will about a foot above the phone's base unit.

Mine is about thee feet away from the router, and it doesn't seem to have affected anything.

My phones base station is Right next to my router with any adverse effect. You could always try using a detuned mw radio to see if the base station is giving off noise.
