Title: ADSL2+ regrade delays - UPDATE
Post by: miriam_idnet on Jun 10, 2009, 17:17:13
Dear Customer,

As you may be aware our ADSL2+ regrade orders were cancelled by BT's systems last week. Having alerted BT to the issue we worked closely with the WBC team to get to the bottom of the issue. It transpires that the bulk order tool on their system does not send the orders over to the back end system which actually processes the order, to add insult to injury they have known about this issue since December but failed to remove the tool from the system nor advise new customers. Unfortunately it was necessary for BT to complete the cancellations before new orders could be submitted, this was completed Friday afternoon.

I am pleased to confirm that we have finally completed re submitting every order individually, as you can imagine this was a long and arduous task but we got there in the end.

All ADSL2+ regrade orders placed prior to Tuesday 9 June will now complete before or on the 17th June.

We sincerely apologise for the delay and thank you for your continued patience and support.

Regards,

Miriam

Thanks for the update, Miriam. BT aren't the sharpest tool in the box, are they. :(
