Title: Packet Loss on IDNET Router last 4 hours
Post by: tamtap on Jun 04, 2009, 20:27:58
Curios if anyone else have the issue ?

Pingplotter image below identifying the problem

Seems this is the rogue router: telehouse-gw2-lo1.idnet.net,212.69.63.51

Interested if someone else on idnet could run a pingplot against www.idnet.net

cheers

Tam

I am pinging at a steady and repeatable 42ms with interleaving on, so no problem here

Hi tamtap

I just did one out of curiosity although you should keep in mind that I'm having connection issues which are related to a migration to ADSL2+. However my results are showing something very strange and I was connected during the periods of sustained packet loss as I could browse these forums.

Welcome tamtap to the forum :karma:

Please any correct me if I'm wrong but since you've no packet loss on your destination address I think that classes as a  normal result. I recall a similar result some time back for myself.

Please continue in this thread (http://www.idnetters.co.uk/forums/index.php?topic=14447.0) as it sounds like the same issue. :)
