Title: Problem..
Post by: Maverich on Jun 04, 2009, 20:26:26
I didn't want to hijack anyones thread so thought it's only polite to create a new one  :)

MY connection has been fantastic until a few days ago when things seemed slightly slow but I put this down to time of day etc.  I have just gone to play Xbox and within 5 mins I get d/c, the pc connection had been lost as well.  Restart the router and connects fine, go to play a game on Xbox and lots of lag then d/c.

Test1 comprises of Best Effort Test:  -provides background information.
    Your DSL connection rate: 8128 kbps(DOWN-STREAM),  448 kbps(UP-STREAM)
IP profile for your line is - 7150 kbps
Actual IP throughput achieved during the test was - 2288 kbps

ADSL Link   Downstream   Upstream
Connection Speed   8128 kbps   448 kbps
Line Attenuation   31.5 db   18.0 db
Noise Margin   6.5 db   19.0 db

Something is wrong...please help  :'(

When you say you are disconnected, is that a loss of PPP, sync, or LAN?

I believe its a loss of PPP, according to the stats in router setup.

As Tam says, Rich, talk to support, they can fix things for you. You ideally want to be at your computer when you call.
