True, but AFAICT most of the attacks on Macs are done via social engineering, which mostly require you to give up your admin password. For most people that would give a hint that something is not quite right. After all why would a .pdf require your admin password?
That said, the pirate CS4 downloads also required you to give your admin password which is what you would expect when installing something. Problem was it was a trojan being installed. Not a lot you can do about that on any system.
In the end there's no such thing as 100% security.
