That's downright scary. Imagine what happens when the hackers get going (not to mention the energy requirements!). :)

Never mind the hackers just imagine what the Government could do with it.  I know 1984 is becoming an overworked cliche, but Big Brother really could be watching you...

The NHS could refuse to help you if they can see you haven't been taking your medication is just one thing which springs to mind.

They'll soon be rationing treatment anyway, depending on lifestyle, eg weight, smoking, drinking. :(

I wonder if you will be able to choose your own colour for the "blue screen of death", it could save on decorating costs

I think there's a real danger of tilting the balance between life enhancing gadgets and allowing the gadgets to live your life for you in that house.

had another thought today. I'm not sure if any of you have seen some recent articles of late, but they are going to be building flash player in TV's which will ip be tcp/ip enabled, now that is a scary thought. Imagine the size of that botnet! Even scarier is when they start including webcams with tv's for gaming etc, you'll never know who's watching .....

Both my TV and Bluray player can connect to the web - this could lead to mayhem. :)
