what does the message 'insufficient bandwidth' mean when watching something on the BBC site

Possibly their servers are overloaded, possibly that your line speed is not adequate for the file you're trying to view (though I doubt the latter, given my line).

yeah here you go Rik

coast to coast (http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00jwck2) it got to about 24 mins when we got the message

It sounds like their site was to blame.
