Title: Spotify
Post by: D-Dan on Apr 12, 2009, 15:49:13
Having been reading about this for the last couple of months, just about everywhere I look, I decided to take a look. I have to say, I'm impressed.

A quick and clean interface and an extremely (read instantaneous) search engine, and since my first love is 50's I decided to test it. It hasn't let me down, so I decided to test for my dad (Al Jolson fan) and again, it came up trumps.

It was also search internet radio just as quickly for music of your particular ilk, which works very well, too.

The free version is ad supported, though TBH, I've seen one ad (in the main program window) and that's it, so not exactly in your face.

If you like music, I heartily recommend it :)

Thanks, Steve. My brain seems to edit out ads before processing pages. ;)

Thanks for the reminder, Steve.

It is very good and it won't cost anything to try it.

The one ad on the free version was no problem.

I've got pretty wide tastes (music wise ;D) and I've yet to come up with a no show.

Very impressive indeed. Do give it a try.
