Do you use OpenDNS? It's working now anyway - perhaps I just hit the server at a bad time. :dunno:

Yes
It could be that IDNet's DNS hadn't updated first time round then.
People using OpenDNS have no need to worry, they are automatically protected anyway.
OpenDNS automatically prevents Conficker from phoning home to contact it's Botnet and signed up OpenDNS users have been getting confirmation of their Conficker status on their account page for some time..........
Conficker status: OpenDNS has detected no suspicious queries related to the Conficker virus from your network.
All clean here. :)
I just tested mine, all OK too
Conficker begins stealthy update: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/7991422.stm
It's starting to get a little intriguing. I wonder what sort of payload this virus will deliver.
It's a worrying trend, the smart worm. :(
I've not actually heard of anyone who's managed to get infected with this yet. :dunno:
Hopefully, members here or at Pals are savvy enough not to. :fingers:
Or at least, not admit to it.
I think most of the members around here are switched on enough not to get infected.
It's just confined to the House of Commons, the MoD, the Royal Navy's warships and a few Health Authorities that are still using Norton's Antivirus without a subscription. So nobody too important really
;D
I bet the car parking fines system is kept clean. ;)
Hehe, that wouldn't surprise me at all. I've found them to be extraordinarily efficient!
Not to mention blood-sucking. :)
