Not really, but my RSS feed just made me laugh...
Better than this morning though - the predicted total was 30.6Gb.

I did mention this to Simon yesterday, Drummer. I feel they should not have predictions for the first day or two of the month, they are always so wildly out. Like you, from a 0 usage, it calculated several GB, with the added oddity of predicting to a one-byte accuracy. :shake:
I thought Martin tweaked it? Maybe that is why it is coming up with these figures though, as I recall the tweak was to get it to look at the average use over the last few days ???
That was happening, it looks likes it's been changed again. :(
Mine predicted 22.9Gb download yesterday morning. I think it's just a 'feature' of the software used to predict the usage. Most people have an idea of what their normal usage is, so can take the first few days readings with a pinch of salt.
It can be a bit of a shock for new customers, though.
And, tbh, it does look a bit slapdash. :(
I think it would make sense for it not to predict usage for the first couple of days. It can't have any meaning to anyone.
I would have thought it was a simple issue. 0 bytes used on day one x 28, 30 or 31 = 0
Thus predicted monthly figure is zero.
Use 1Gig on day two, 1GB x 28-1, 30-1 or 31-1
Thus predicted monthly figure is 27, 29 or 30GB.
Is that too simplistic?
