He could try clearing his Temporary Internet Folder and deleting Cookies etc. then try again.
For me this is done at the Properties of IE or at the Tools menu Internet Options for other third party browsers I have no idea.
CCleaner among other utilities will do it too.

Favs. he's put in folders have all stopped working. (100.s of them btw)
Message : IE cannot display this webpage and checking the error further advises a winsock error which 'puter advises it can cure.
So, let 'puter solve it but after re-boot it's back to 'cannot display webpage'.
My brain hurts at this stage as it's been a long hard day!!
I suspect he's clicked something, somewhere ... but what???
OMG The dreaded 12029 prob is here.

I'm off to bed now and will pull my hair out tomorrow!!
There's an apparently free tool to fix this here:
http://www.zaperrors.com/?t202id=911719&t202kw=error%2012029&gclid=CJHaj4eUrJkCFQ5uQgodDwVwJw
but be aware that it may tell you what the error is but say you have to buy the software to fix it.
Fixed!!
Uninstalled & re-installed Commodo firewall. I did check Commodo' settings prior to uninstall but no blocking apparent. Call it a hunch oif you like but this isn't the 1st time I've had probs with this freebie. Anyone using any other freebie with no probs. maybe??
No, but most reports I've seen of Comodo have been good.
Glad you got it sorted! :thumb:
I did this a few months ago with Kaspersky when I accidentally blocked a couple of .dlls when I wasn't paying attention to an update. It took AGES to figure out what had been blocked :D
