Title: faulty filter
Post by: sobranie on Mar 09, 2009, 20:12:35
Didn't spot it until too late!  Now my profile has dropped from 7000 approx to 4500.  How long for it to climb back up please?
Router shows 8128/448 as per my normal and the 4500 got from bt speed test site.

It is normally up to 5 days, but you'll probably find that you regain most of the speed with 3 with only the final step taking the extra 2 days.

There's a good explanation of this kind of stuff relating to profiles over on kitz.co.uk if you're interested. :)

Now that was quick! BT speed checker shows my profile @ 7150k with an actual of 6147 already. Exchange is very up to date here in Helston, Cornwall and that was some fast recovery was it not?
