Title: 2700HGV Bridge Mode ??
Post by: EvilPC on Mar 03, 2009, 23:05:47
Hi
Does anyone know if it is possible to bridge a 2700HGV with a belkin wireless access point ?
And would wireless clients still be able to access the 2700 + belkin ??

(I've just set up 2 netgear access points as a bridge and they support client access mode at the same time as the bridge)

Thanks

I'm not sure. I don't see why not. Someone here should know. :)

There is some information about using the 2700 as a bridge here (http://bt2700hgv.tripod.com/ir1002700HGV.htm#Using%20a%202700HGV%20as%20a%20wireless%20ethernet%20bridge/WAP) but that is for when you want to use the 2700 as the second router. Doing it the other way round shouldn't be a problem - I've bridged a Linksys WRT160N wirelessly to the 2700 using custom firmware.
