I've started getting the password box in Thunderbird when attempting to send mail via smtp.idnet.com. A client has also phoned me with the same issue...

Yep - here we go again. A service update from IDNet would be appreciated.

Also RSS is down as well on the status updates etc.
Also can not log into customer account on idnet.net.
There's a problem with a database server which is causing authentication problems, so email, access to the website and logons are affected. It's hoped it will be resolved shortly.
:update: Latest I have is that they hope to have things back to normal in the next half hour or so.

No, it isn't. Mine is still down.
Give support a ring, everything is working fine for me, so they'll need to check your situation for you.
