Anyone else getting this? Any entry in Google, however innocuous, results in the list of results where each one has the line "This site may harm your computer". Clicking on any of the results takes you to a page warning about the site. There is a link to take you to the site through Google's "safe browsing diagnostic page", but clicking on that apparently gives a server error. Getting the same results on my machine and my son's lappy. :dunno:
See this thread (http://www.idnetters.co.uk/forums/index.php?topic=12486.msg289064#msg289064) Bruce, I think Google is having a bad hair day. :(
So I see. Thanks Rik. May have to use another search engine. :eek4:
Er - anyone remember what others there are? ???
Yahoo, Ask...
found this (http://www.thaindian.com/newsportal/sci-tech/this-site-may-harm-your-computer-google-says-about-all-sites_100149595.html) ::)
500 server error? :(
:dunno:
At roughly 9:40 pm on 31st Jan 2008 (Thai time GMT +7), any search result on google.com showed the message "This site may harm your computer" for all websites including thaindian.com
We wish to reassure users that thaindian.com does not indulge in these activities and this is a goof up by Google affecting all websites.
The feature(when working correctly) by Google enables users to be warned of websites which may pottentially carry mallware and affect the users computers.
We hope Google fixes it as soon as possible.

It seems that they have. :)
Just as I was on the phone to the BBC newsroom alerting them to the story. :(
It seems to be fixed now. :)
Buggers fixed it as I was telling the BBC about it. >:D

I tried. :)
I somehow doubt we were the only ones to call them. :)
They were looking at it when I rang. :)
