Title: Bargain router
Post by: Lance on Jan 06, 2009, 23:47:36
I picked up an absolute bargain today in Tesco, a Linksys wrt160n wireless router for £13.50! Ebuyer are selling the same model for over £60! It was just reduced to clear and they only had 2 left!

Does anybody know if this can be set up as a wireless network extender, without the need for a cable between it and my 2700hgv?

The reduced labels showed it had been reduced from £90 to £35 prior to my purchase. I didn't hesitate to buy it and nearly brought the remaining 2 to sell on ebay!

I think you should have!  :)  For that price, I'd have bought one just to try out against the 2700.
