Title: Hotmail and Opera
Post by: dudwell on Dec 17, 2008, 10:42:01
Trying to avoid using Internet Explorer, I attempted to email with Hotmail and Opera instead. Although I can fill in the address and subject I can't type into the message panel. Am I missing a trick somewhere?

I use Hotmail, but only from within Windows Live Mail, it works a treat. :thumb:

Google reveals a whole history of Opera/Hotmail incompatibilities. I'm concluding that it's simplest just to avoid the combination. I seldom send emails anyway :)

Thanks Rik, Steven and In.

Use idnet.com, no problems that way. :)

Ah, but idnet.com (for friends and family mostly) creates the illusion that I'm some sort of a computer connoisseur while hotmail.com (for shopping and strangers) makes me appear a total beginner, even maybe an American, useful sometimes! ;D
