I have just turned on and have a message on my screen Adobe Reader problem.I think this was updated yesterday.....If I uninstall this will it have any adverse effects ?
Im not even sure what the problem is,it states Add on so before I take it off I thought I would just check with you guys ???
Remove it, David. When you need it you will be told and can re-install it. You want to delete both the plugin from Firefox and the program itself, unless the latter runs OK.
:ithank: Im forever in your debt Rik...thanks :thumb: :thumb:
The bill's in the post. ;)
I no longer use Firefox.....but as usual you cover all areas :thumb:
Job done................Im sending you an entire Woolies gift card, you can use it anytime after the end of January 2009 ;) ;D
If you need to be able to read PDFs you can always install Foxit Reader - much lighter and much less bug-ridden than Adobe's load of rubbish :D
Don't be unkind to Adobe, John, without them there wouldn't be a PDF. :'( ;D

It will always be linked with Idnetters,a new slogan will be born,"dont become a "David" read the b''''@y manuals :D ;D
But you are cherished, David. Why would we not want people to style themselves on you?
To keep your sanity I would have thought..... :thumb: :thnks:
Its the best place to be here......... ;)
Foxit reader is a fantastic, lightweight program, much better than Adobe.
Just a thought but why do men block their age and location on their profile, I can understand why women block their age (it's a custom) but it would be nice to know how old everone is and what part of the country they live. Sometimes they even block their gender and that I can not understand. :eyebrow:

:iagree:
Foxit is far better, imho. I think it was Noreen that introduced me to it. :)

It's a public forum and I suppose some people don't want to be too 'visible' Den, for whatever reason.
Perhaps its vanity Den ?
A lot of people here won't have their photograph as their avatar, something that's very common elsewhere because people like to see who they are talking to. I suppose it's the same sort of reasoning.
Indeed. I'm very relaxed about such things, but I accept that not everyone's the same. At least we don't display the ghastly gender icons that SMF can use. :)
