Title: Filesharing on a network
Post by: Wingco1 on Apr 20, 2006, 21:06:37
How do I do it  ???

I`ve enabled file and print sharing on the 98SE box, can`t find it on the XP box.

Am I supposed to be able to see the other computer from whichever box I`m using?.

It`s all very confusing  :-\ :'(

Hey, no problem ... that`s what we`re here for! :)

I wasn`t being lazy btw, a tutorial by Microsft itself couldn`t really be topped ... plus you get bonny pictures with theirs :D

One thing that nearly always catches people out with XP Home is that for File Sharing to work the Guest Account has to be enabled.
