dont know if its just FF or something else but just noticed that if I click on a link in google either the number or next link at the bottom I see a small dot appear just above the link :dunno:
Doesn't happen here with FF3.04, IE7, or Chrome
It does indeed, Baz, and I'm using V 3.04.
What Addons do you have ?

Yep, does that here too. FF 3.0.4 on Linux
It's definitely not happening on mine (FF 3.04 on Windows).

Can you post a screenshot, Baz? I don't think I'm seeing it, but I'd like to make sure I'm looking for the same thing as you're seeing.

Here we are, Rik, also appears above the numbers when you click them.

Right, I see it only briefly as it steps though the pages of the search.
Its a bug on the screen ;D
That's the first thing I checked for, Steve. ;D
Thunder bug of firefly ;D
:grn:
Thunderbug is gone. ;D
I have noticed this little dot for the last six weeks or so, using Firefox V3.03 and now V3.04. I had put it down to a pixel that they are using for some sort of tracking or statistics.
It happens both in WinXP and also Ubuntu Linux V8.10, both in UK and on Spanish Google, where I am now.
HTH.
I reckon it's a miniature webcam, JB, taking pictures over everyone using Google. >:D
Then they would see the rain in Spain atm :thumbd:
Poor In, timed it wrong again. :)

Hey, what about me ?
:but:
Ah, you're always out there... ;)
Happening here too. Vista Home Premium, Firefox 3.0.4
I'm not seeing it in Opera or SeaMonkey. Firefox does receive money from Google for searches, iirc, I wonder if it has anything to do with that?
sorry Rik just got in but I see Ray got the screen shot. thats the same as what I get on FF 3.0.4
I see the same Baz, but not in other browsers.
