Post by: Glenn on Nov 09, 2008, 14:19:59
I lost connection to the forum and my email for 15 minutes, it came back about 5 minutes ago, but is still slow to update.

It happened earlier, say 12:30 ish. I'd reported it to IDNet when it all came back again. I suspect the same link between Telehouse and Telecity that we've seen before. It may be that someone picked up on my call and decided to re-boot something...

Message from Simon D:

One of the interfaces to a switch in Telecity has failed, we've routed traffic around it as a short-term fix.

Damned technology. ;D

I must have spotted the early signs and was busy getting my hair cut when it went for real. Now is that a sense of timing or what?;)

I've got the bread to trim as well, Ian. For the rest, a sanding disc does nicely.  :eek4:
