Title: Low speeds
Post by: alan on Jan 08, 2007, 17:09:10
From about 1530 each day my speed takes a tumble,  the last 4 days not including the week-end are 888/709/615/999kbps
I get about 6200kbps during the night, 4000-5000kbps during the day until about 1530ish it then drops quite a lot.
My exchange is shown as RED and I know the kids are all jumping on the net about that time but it should it make such a big difference. ?
Ive tried to do the BT speedtester thingy but its always busy.
.
Thanks
Alan

Yes it could easily account for it.
I assume you mean the results of speed tests.

Browsing has been a bit variable for a few of us on here for the past week or so - we don't know why.

Thanks Nerval... Yes, that is the results of a Dsl Zone tester. I'll suck it and see when/if my exchange ever goes Green.

i'd place my bottom dollar on it being the red exchange and on all the kids getting back from school at 15:29 and logging on 15:30!
