I want to run a route finder/map program on Vista but the progam I have (Travelmanager UK) needs to run from CD. Anyone know of a good virtual drive program so I can run the CD from the hard drive
Could try Daemon tools works with Vista
There's also SlySoft Virtual CloneDrive (http://www.slysoft.com/en/virtual-clonedrive.html).
I use Daemon Tools (http://www.daemon-tools.cc/dtcc/download.php?mode=ViewCategory&catid=5) for virtual drives but it's also something Nero offers.
Another vote for Daemon tools
Downloaded Daemon tools lite and it did not want to know abour running on Vista. It says it installed but would not let me open it from the icon or from programs. :'( As a thought this is the only Vista program that has failed to load properly so it was quite a shock. ::)
Trying to recall ?? I think you should see a new virtual drive in hardware profile. did you restart?

Den, right click on the icon in the task bar then select the image file to load from there
On my computer I have Roxio Easy Media Creator 10 suite, on closer examination  there is a virtual drive application so I will try that :eyebrow: What a doeball ;D
