Title: A rival to VMware?

Hyper-V is now available at for free http://www.microsoft.com/servers/hyper-v-server/default.mspx could this rival VMWare's ESXi free offering?

VMMware by MS so you can run a virtual PC on your PC handy if you do a lot of testing of apps etc.

It is not a desktop, it is a virtual server application

Ermm - what's wrong with VirtualBox - which works flawlessly with minimal overheads?

LOL - I dual boot (and use VirtualBox on both Windows and Linux) - so I could have posted it from anywhere :)
