Title: Broadband Limits
Post by: john on Oct 23, 2008, 12:49:20
There is an article on the BBC news regarding Broadband Limits (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/7684322.stm).

I have been exceeding my limit recently but, unlike many of the providers mentioned in the article, Idnet have been very clear about the limit (even providing an easy way of monitoring one's usage) and their charges for using more I've found quite reasonable.

I saw that story, John. Why did they have to link it to obesity. ;)

Generally, those ISPs that advertise as unlimited offer a poor service anyway. There are exceptions of course, but not really on IPStream. It makes a lot more sense to offer a sensible limit and make that clear to customers.
