Is anyone else having a problem with smtp.idnet.com timing out?
Outlook reports:
Sending' reported error (0x8004210B) : 'The operation timed out waiting for a response from the sending (SMTP) server. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'
No problem with incoming email.

It's fine here, Chris. Did this happen just after opening Outlook?
As with lots of MS problems, a reboot cured the problem.
I'd sent emails prior to the problem occurring and I'd not closed Outlook - just one of those odd Windows issues.
