Title: ITunes music store to close?
Post by: stevenrw on Oct 02, 2008, 07:28:41
Interesting article here:
http://news.sky.com/skynews/Home/Business/Apple-iTunes-Store-May-Shut-Down-If-National-Music-Publishers-Association-Rasies-Royalty-Rates/Article/200810115111284?lpos=Business_First_Home_Article_Teaser_Region_6&lid=ARTICLE_15111284_Apple_iTunes_Store_May_Shut_Down_If_National_Music_Publishers_Association_Rasies_Royalty_Rates

It wont close of course, but it's indicative of how the music industry is wringing its hands over illegal downloading hurting creativity and robbing the artists of income, when what they REALLY mean is that it's hitting them, the record companies and related bodies of profit.

Lol I posted this as well in Entertainment, hey ho, Apple won't take a loss they say, they may have to, they have too much invested in their line up to lose the store.
