Title: Phone software question
Post by: David on Sep 28, 2008, 15:43:19
Ok,its been a while  >:D

The software which came with my phone is on a mini CD but the CD cannot be read by my pc because of the pc has a slot and not a tray.
If I manage to get the software on another pc would this software be able to be transfered via a memory stick?

Surely the phone software is available as a download.I never bother with the one that comes with the phone as its usually out of date and as soon as you install it,it then insists on an update.

What phone is it, David? It should be available online, which is better anyway as it'll be an up-to-date version.

Copy the contents of the CD on another machine to a memory stick and the install, you shouldn't need to burn a new CD

I can't believe how bad the LG site is. In fact, every LG site I've just been on in the last 10 minutes has been disgraceful. Nothing works!
