Title: RouterStats 4.3 application
Post by: Pistol on Sep 03, 2008, 18:10:44
Someone recommended this app, RouterStats (http://www.vwlowen.co.uk/internet/files.htm), to track my line noise etc..  Its a great app thanks!

However i have noticed it, after an hour or two, starts using up almost all of one of my cores..., 40-50% of my 3Ghz E6600 cpu useage.. I have to shut it down  to get it to stop. Any ideas why this might happen? Cheers

also, when i shut it down in this case, it wont.. i have to hard end its process.
hmm, looking at the graph.. i see there was connection lost to my router.. wonder if it in that down time, went mental with its cpu usage..

I've only seen RS go mad once, and that was when it seemed to be unable to reach the router, and fell into a loop, producing the symptoms you describe. Drop John Owen a note, he's very responsive to bug reports and suggestions. :)
