Title: Thank You Andrew Idnet
Post by: David on Sep 03, 2008, 11:39:54
I would just like to say thank you for a premium, and very personal service from Andrew at Idnet and of course the whole of the support team.

The way they have handled issues is nothing short of fantastic,so a big thank you Idnet.

This is a public forum but credit where its due and in this case its due big time...

Sincere thanks for going beyond the call of duty.

David

Definitely encouraging to hear that. I think that is why many of us (myself at least) migrated to IDnet - their reputation for quality service both for the net and support is why we are hapy to pay a premium. Long may it continue.

Last isp i was with i had to threaten to get a response.

when i got it the service was second to none.

all i said was i am going to post on thinkbroadband forum the full catalogue of errors.

this was in response to an email asking to fill out a customer satisfaction questionnaire.

150+ dissconnections a day

no response to support emails or returned calls. put price up day after i joined, i could go on and on but as i said once i got through to the right person they moved heaven and earth (even got bt sfi team involved) to get the problem resolved.

then they put up there prices so i left

Oh and BT sfi said the use your connection for you could do with increased upload speed.

previous isp did offer it but wanted 50 quid a month.....

idnet are a little cheaper at 34.99 but 15 is 15quid

that led to another reason for the move

Alluminum rules   ;D

oh and i finally got a graphical interface and firefox on my linux server :)

you can tell the extensions finished ive started playing  ;D

still a few 1000 jobs to do but hey.

Oh and back to topic.

I find idnet support fantastic.
if they ever get taken over by minusnet im off.  isp i was with 2 back did and that was a nightmare. previously was probarly the best isp in the world (except they did a wires only service so no good for your average home user)

I think if IDNet were ever taken over, many of us would be off, Dean. Would the last person to leave the forum please turn off the lights. :)
