I've just migrated from W7 to W10 but my very old Adobe Photo DeLuxe imaging editor software no longer works.
It was struggling under W7 I have to admit, even using it in XP SP3 Compatibility mode.
So, I have to find an alternative thats easy to use and free.
I don't use it often enough to warrant spending ££ on it, but one function I do need is the ability to resize images. Most, if not all, of the free ones will have a "Crop" function but not a resize/enlarge facility.
Ideas/suggestions anybody?
As an aside I run dual monitors using the onboard graphics of my Skylake processor. I run a desktop slideshow which, on W7 used to show the same image on each screen at the same time, changing at whatever interval I set.
Now under W10, the slideshow still works except the images are different on each screen.
Most bizarre.
Not a showstopper, in fact I quite like having two different desktops to look at, but it seems strange behaviour.

Possibly either of the following may prove to be suitable:
Irfanview (http://www.irfanview.com/)
or
The Gimp (https://www.gimp.org/)
but you will have to ascertain that they are available for Windows 10 and that they meet your requirements.

Have you tried the onboard Paint in Windows 10? I've used it on occasions, and I'm pretty sure it has cropping and resizing facilities.

I use Paint.net, Irfanview and XnViewMP. I like the latter best. All work in Windows 10 and will resize images with various options.
