When typing on my smartphone, never on the laptop, I often get vowels with an unwàntèd gràve accent. How to avòìd this irritation?

Are you perhaps pressing for too long on the keys? A long press on some keys brings up other options, such as the accented letters you've mentioned.

I've been bitten by a horse but I concede that being bitten by a Møøse is far more impressive. :whistle:
