MICROSOFT HAS CONFIRMED that Windows 10 is being downloaded to computers whether or not users have opted in.

I'm on Windows 7 and as far as I'm concerned staying on Windows 7 as I see no hurry from Canon to update drivers for Canon equipment that I have.

I have automatic updates disabled and anything other than security updates are getting close scrutiny before installing. I usually wait to install updates for three weeks after their release to enable others to find out the repercussions :red:

I do exactly the same Sparky. Windows updates are a menace in my opinion! Strangely, with my netbook, I can no longer download the updates as it never gets past "searching for updates". ;D
