Hi. Have just logged into my webmail account to find that nearly all of my messages, hundreds of them dating back to 2009, have gone. Only 10 messages dating back a couple of weeks remain.
Is this a known issue, or am I just lucky?
Hopefully the backup when restored will return the lost mail.

As you may see in the IDNet Announcements and Help boards, there's been a major mail server failure. They are trying to restore emails, but whether all can be recovered remains to be seen. It's not a great idea to store all your emails on the webmail server, for this reason. It's always best to download your emails to your own computer.
Edit: Or what Steve said.
Thanks, I didn't see those announcements.
I do have local copies in Outlook fortunately, I just presumed the server would be backed-up and therefore a good place to archive key stuff.
It is backed up, and they do hope to restore the data. :)
