The growing problem of accessing old digital file formats is a "ticking time bomb", the chief executive of the UK National Archives has warned.

Not!! It is a very real problem, though, I can remember getting caught out by format changes many a time. Software manufacturers really should have put more thought into their proprietary formats before unleashing them on us and especially before changing them when they updated their software.
